Florida is terrible.

Throughout the past few dates I've seen Jack's Mannequin infront of the barrier, Four Year Strong (!!!) as often as I can, Norma Jean, Forever the Sickest Kids, Cobra Starship, and Matisyahu (sp?). The Hasidic rapper was easily my favorite set so far in the Myspace tent.

Dude delivered some SICK raps and beatboxed like I've never seen. Just thinking about him performing the song "Jerusalem" is making my a little misty haha, it was honestly very inspiring and beautiful. Four Year is a close second—the crowd and the energy they generate makes me swell with Playwork Pride, haha. And lets just talk about what fucking decent guys they are outside their band.

None of this is mentioning the awesomeness of talking to huge bands while waiting in line for catering. Hey man, hows the food, its hot, oh you're so and so holy shit. Everyone is so down to earth despite how talented they are; it makes you respect them even if you're not the biggest fans of their music. The "little people" too are great; there is such a sense of camaraderie and friendship here….I love meeting people working other booths—exchanging numbers, smoking a cigarette, sharing food and trading goods. A lot of Warped people stayed at a Quality Inn the night before Jacksonville and the excitement and anticipation of another day was palpable.

Trying to remember what I promised to write about…. AHA! British bands. They English people are fucking REPRESENTING at Warped Tour '08—my boys Out of Sight have a decent following and hopefully in a few years they'll jump the pond again and come play some Warped dates. And what about the crowds?

People in Florida were so friendly it was ridiculous—-on the Orlando date I met the most HARDCORE GIRL AT ALL OF WARPED TOUR. Let's talk about Tabitha. Tabitha and I met when she stumbled up to our tent looking like she might pass out on the table. The only words she could manage were

"GET ME MEDIC"

After Julio very nicely escorted her to the medic tent, she came back to thank us and chat a bit. I learned that Tabitha had passed out 5 TIMES over the past 3 dates and was only going to attend more times.

She lives in Ohio. She was in Florida.

I don't think Tabitha would mind me saying she isn't a petite girl; not to mention, she was wearing all black and had little money for cooling off methods.

Think about it people: How easy is it for skanky chicks wearing next to nothing to walk around, dance, sing, and have a great time without breaking a sweat? Not to mention guys who are allowed to take off their shirts. I don't care how big of fans they are, TABITHA was out in the heat busting her balls for her fav. bands having a great time even though she was probably close to heat exhaustion.

At the Orlando date we also met two girls who offered to take me to a 2 LIVE CREW show three blocks away. AHHH wish I could've gone but I have pictures hopefully being sent my way. (Again, this illustrates how much Florida sucks; a 2 LIVE CREW show? 20 bucks? WHY WOULDN'T you go? Oh yeah, it is fucking hot and storming and you are sleep deprived.)

Bus life is awesome. Last night it was two people in ECI's bdays and it was crunk. Good videos will be up. I'm not really a photohorse so you should check out Jac and Julio if you want the goods.

Alright, signing off. Until next time….
