Pure Heat.

Posted on 07/15/2008

I’m sitting under our tent in Charlotte, NC and it’s blistering hot – no humidity like that of Florida, just pure heat. I haven’t taken any photos today other than those I take to look like I’m doing something while watching Four Year Strong on stage, and don’t really plan on taking any. The heat gets sweat all over my camera and black cameras in the heat are no good at all.

Anyways, I spent most of my morning being a “hustla’ baby!”, passing out stickers and luring young unsuspecting girls to our tent for bracelet sales. As creepy as it sounds, it makes for a good time and helps pass the hours.

I caught a bit of Cinematic Sunrise’s set today, and like yesterday, I felt there was something missing. I can’t say what, but compared to their recordings there were definitely some much needed layers missing. I watched Four Year Strong again – like everyday on this tour – and of course they did an amazing job pumping up their biggest crowd all tour. Cobra Starship was exactly what I expected – cheesy synth pop – and Forever the Sickest Kids were just as good as the last four times I’ve seen them.

Today is honestly the most packed date since I joined the tour four or five days ago. It’s been hard to differentiate days lately due to my lack of sleep and going through the same motions day in day out. As bad as thats sounds, I’ve been having whole a lot of fun and making a ton of friends out here; I wouldn’t mind touring more often.

I think that’s all for now, see you next time!
